These are a Few of My Favorite Childhood Toys! :):):):):):):):)

Hi everyone and Happy Memorial Day to those in the US :):):):):)

Today, before I announce our challenge, I want to take a moment and thank all of those that keep us safe on a daily basis. Thank you :)

And our challenge today is a blast from the past...or even the present if you choose! lol!! These are a Few of my Favorite Childhood Toys! Did you have a favorite toy growing up? Do you want to document your child's favorite toy right now?? Whatever it is... we want to see it :):):):):):)

Here is what our DT has created for this challenge! :)

First is Anne, our GDT with her beautiful layout! :)
Here is what Anne has to say about her layout: "My Mom took me to see the Mary Poppins movie when I was 6 or 7 years old, then bought me the record of the soundtrack.  I sang every song and danced every dance from the movie every chance I had.  That Christmas I was so thrilled when she gave me a Mary Poppins doll for Christmas.  I treasured her."

Next, we have Michelle B with her gorgeous layout documenting her daughter's fave toy! :)
Here is what Michelle says about her layout, "Rainee fell in love with doggie the moment she saw him... lots of toys have come and gone... but doggie will always be her very first favorite toy."

Next, we have this amazing layout from Erika! :)

Erika has this to say about her layout, "When I think back to my childhood, you always come to mind. That one special thing I loved to play with, to be with and...to LOVE.

My German Shephard Deja was my favorite thing in the world. So much more than a toy...A best friend that filled my heart and was always there."

Next, we have Krista and her Favorite childhood toys were her dolls "Chatty Cathy and Samantha" ... LOVE this! :)\

Next, we have this FUN and beautiful layout from Jenneke! :)
Here is what Jenneke says about her layout, "
This is a picture of my son when he was just a little boy.
This red car was his favorite toy! Everything he did, he did on his car. Eat, play, watch tv... And of course he had to take it to his bedroom too...."
Next, we have an adorable layout from Diana documenting her son's favorite toy! Love it! :)
Here is what Diana says about her layout, "Nate has SOOO many favorite toys, but he searched for months for this penguin. After he finally found it (at Hobby Lobby, of all places), he took it everywhere with him."
Next, we have a TOTALLY AWESOME layout from Valerie! :)
Here is what Valerie says about her layout, "I have a younger brother, so while he played with He Man, I had my She Ra doll keeping the kingdom under control! She also had a really awesome outfit."
Next, we have a FUN layout from Wendy, with her Favorite Childhood Toy Barbie! :) Love it! :)

Lastly today, we have this BEAUTIFUL layout from Melissa! :)
Here is what Melissa says about her layout, "My Cabbage Patch Kids were my favorite toy(s) growing up. Unfortunately, my Mother never saved anything, so I don't have any of them anymore. If I recall correctly, this is what my very first one looked like. My Aunt Donna (RIP) actually got me one for Christmas the very first year that they came out. She stood in line for hours and ended up getting smacked over the head with a lady's purse because she grabbed the last one! I was the happiest girl alive that Christmas morning!!!!!"
Now for our prize :):):):)

Our team member Debbie has donated the prize for this challenge ... and I think it is PERFECT for this time of year! Its the Crate Paper "School Spirit" line! :)  With school coming to a close for most kids this time of year, I think this line is just right for scrapping those last day of school photos, the school photos you took this year, the dances and graduations! :) Thanks Debbie for donating this! :)

Now its your turn! :):):):) You have until 9PM EST June 13th to link up your layout, a card, a mini, an altered item that shares your Favorite Childhood Toy! :):):):):):):):):):)

Thanks for stopping by... can't wait to see what you create! :)  ~~Julie~~ :):):):)

I love these too! I am thinking that I would love to do this but I don't have any pics?? I was just talking to my sweet dd about all the things we did as kids....one hint, the openings to soda cans that we used to string together to make long long strings of aluminum lids along with stepping on cans to walk on so you could hear us coming, aluminum and all. This was what we did when we played at the softball park while my dad played...it was so much fun to live in Portugal and to make up so many things to do and play outside. Boy we were never bored either! xoxoxo (JTW, Thank you for stopping by my blog....you are usually my one and only fan...I would still love you even if you didnt come but thanks so much for making the time to come over. Praying you have a wonderful weekend and I hope your move went well. Sorry it has been so long since I have been by for a visit.
